Fine if that&#039;s their choice but until customer&#039;s realise that they also have a choice (to shop elsewhere) and consistently act on it, then supermarkets are unlikely to change their sourcing policy. I suspect those reading this blog will already be converted to this ideal, it&#039;s getting the message out to wider audience that I suspect will be the issue.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Well.  Good, as usual.  I only wish one could think it would have any effect on Tescos.  The people who are really to blame, of course, are the local Planning Committees. They do not have to say yes.  Lewes has given planning permission to a vastly enlarged Tescos (incorporating chemist, optician etc. One of the latter in the town said to me &quot;There are already five opticians in Lewes. Is this fair?&quot; ) and to an Aldi now built right beside it. How can a wonderful town like Lewes survive?  There MUST be money passing to the planners from these predators. Dad getting on well.  Terribly vague and forgetful EXCEPT when playing bridge!
